Hello beautiful people! We are creating a Manchester-based DUP community and are hosting our first event on the 26th of April. The event is a collaboration between trained DUP leaders and professional musicians coming together to celebrate music, dance and song.
WHAT ARE DANCES OF UNIVERSAL PEACE?
Dances of Universal Peace are simple circle dances that have a spiritual focus designed to deeply connect us with ourselves, others and the great mystery of Life. It is a dynamic prayer that combines song and movement, to open our heart and invoke a sense of peace, harmony and healing.
Dakini is an internationally renowned dance leader and mentor with 30 years of experience in teaching the dances all around the world. She loves to spark the enthusiasm for the dances in younger people, and she is known for her gentle yet clear guidance, and for deeply touching the hearts of those present.
The dances will be supported by some exceptionally good young musicians, as well as a professional violinist Robin Ireland.
All welcome – all ages, abilities, experiences and personal beliefs are accepted and included.
Tickets: adults £10; students £5 – payments in cash upon arrival preferred, bank transfers can be arranged if needed.
